Underwriter - London based or Remote  experience in Equity Release preferable

Role overview:
An Underwriter role focused on assessing mortgage applications, with exposure to equity release products and a strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

•    Assess and underwrite mortgage and equity release applications
•    Review income, property, and credit documentation
•    Ensure decisions align with lending policy and regulatory expectations
•    Liaise with brokers, case handlers, and internal teams

Experience:

•    Previous mortgage underwriting experience
•    Equity Release knowledge or experience preferred
•    Strong attention to detail and sound risk judgement
